I liked the ability to "visualize" business data, as well as deploy "measures". Q&A sessions with Jason went very well - in particular, his follow-up emails with the recorded videos along with any further information related to any questions we had for him during the Q&S sessions. Great course, and a very good format to present the PBI lessons.

Matt, I absolutely love your training style. I have attempted other courses and no one has come close. When you are explaining, questions came to my mind and in the next sentence you addressed those questions. You have a lovely voice and a very good way of explaining difficult concepts in an easy way. I would give this 10 out of 10. I will definitely come back to the advanced course once I practice skills learned. Thank you, Matt!

Going over each Power BI topic in a natural progression allowed me to gain valuable insight into key considerations and best practices for using the tool. I also really enjoyed having the data sample set to explore & exercise with, and that you can go back into specific topics and review each lesson. Finally, I appreciate how current (up to date with recent releases) the content is, and that there is a medium for regular Q&A’s.

I liked learning how to create visuals and the importance of table relationships. The final lesson on new field parameters uses a different database from earlier lessons with different measures created (total cost, total margin). I love the Skillwave courses. Not sure how successful I'll be applying what was learned about Power BI, but I've been tremendously successful applying what was learned from the Power Query course. Fingers crossed!

Excellent explanation of the complexities of Power BI and demonstration of ways that Power BI could be utilized. I feel like the course gave me the tools to explore in Power BI and troubleshoot potential issues. I thought the instructor did a fantastic job of breaking everything down. Will definitely be going back to my notes and videos as I begin building more of my own reports and dashboards.
